Thanksgiving Traditions
Let's take a break from blogging about Egypt - just for a week. I would like to know your thoughts about the Thanksgiving holiday - family traditions, favorite foods etc... The Valley Reporter is looking for some writing to publish about this favorite American holiday, so you may want to work on some related writing pieces this week - the deadline for me to mail things to the Valley Reporter is this Friday, November 9th, so that they will arrive by Monday, November 12.

That picture on the blog front page is funny and mean at the same time. My mom makes sweet potato with marshmellows. It is delicious. He always have a lot of people over for Thanksgiving. Its our Mom's and Dads's friends but they are fun, pleasant company. I like eating the turkey.
Should have been We not He.
My family always goes to my grandparents house. every part of the family brings one type of food, and since I have like, 13 cousins, no one ever gets hungry. I especially like the bread. I'm not totally sure who makes it, but it's really really good. The turkey is always good as well. By the way MRS. Baker, that picture is Sinisterly Hilarious.
I also think the picture is funny. It is a sick twisted humor but it is funny.I alway stay home. But my brothers from all over the united states come. And we have a big dinner. The turkey is never my favorite but I eat it anyway.one of my favorites is the cranberries my mom gets.
We usually go to my Aunt Jackie's house. She makes most of the food, and all of my 27 cousins are there. We always have a pie-making contest. It's funny because we good-humoredly get really competitive. Last time one of my cousins stole my team's pie crust and hid it.
P.S: Check out this link; it makes fun of King Tut.

I looked at the link. The problem is that my computor doesn't have sound. It was still funny. Ms. Baker, where did you find that picture?
I have been told, by some, that my sense of humor is a little bit "twisted" - I found the comic by Googling "Thanksgiving cartoons" because I was looking for something for the blog.
Since my Mum (yes, she was from England, hence the "Mum") died two years ago, Thanksgiving has been at my house and we celebrate Christmas at my older brother, Will's house. We carry on many of the same traditions as Mum did - lots of the same food. She was an infamously bad cook, which we always teased her about, so much fun is had, in her memory, as we try to outdo Mum's lumpy potatoes, dry turkey and burned stuffing! But, all kidding aside, my Mum was a great lady and she is greatly missed - at Thanksgiving, I am especially grateful for having her as my mother and for all the great years the four of us kids, and the four of my kids, had with her.
I think the picture on the front of the blog is an interesting picture. Out of all the pictures they could have put up there, that one? but I do have to edmit sesame street is preety cool! last year we spent a whole two months studding thanksgiving. I hope we don't have to cook a chicken in our class room! Thanksgiving is a preety fun tradition though. My mom does not cook turkey. She is a vegaterian. My dad does though. I just eat salad and mashed patatoes and corn I have loads of fun because I go to a friend of my moms house.
Hopefully Oscar knows about The recently passed Elmo's World county ban on game hunting.
Thanksgiving is one of my holidays, because my family all sits at one tabble and we usaully "barow" food from the person next to us and blame the person on the other side of them. It"s realy fun. If my Gram and aunt Kathy slave away in the kichen while we are setting the tabel. Remember we don't half to talk about egypt
not that that's a bad thing but we've just been only talking about Ancient Egypt
I feel bad for big bird. Luckily, I only see one of them, Elmo, with a fork next to them. I also noticed that Cookie Monster has a plate of cookies. How ironic. I saw the picture of the Sesame Street thanksgiving. When I looked I also saw somthing similar but with the Simpsons and another one but his time with Charlie Brown and Snoppy.
One of my favorite parts of thanksgiving is the stuffing. Oh it is so good. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I also enjoy watching football while mom prepares the turkey.
I have my whole family over!!! LaVanways,Heartshorns, even ms. orr comes for thanksgiving, because she's family of corse! We have the whole get-to-gether, at my grandparents house because it's big so all the people can fit!! About well... a little more than 50 people come. We have LOTS of food there!!! Mashed-potatos, Squash,Ham,etc.... and of corse, the triditional Turkey!!!!
Wow! that is a lot of people. It must be pretty hectic and crowded.
we don't have a thank giving tradtion
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I enjoy all of it. The turkey, sweet potato, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. This all comes on the 22nd. Also, no school.
We usauly stay at our house for Thanksgiving. We invite are grand parents and sometimes our cousins, aunts and uncles come. My favorite part about Thanksgiving is the meal we always have turkey(of course), mashed pataoes, stuffing and my favorite cranberry sauce. We don't play any games during Thanksgiving like some people instead my brothers and I run around will Grandpa, Dad, and Uncle Scott watch football. Mom and Grandma nmake dinner. I always save room for the big dessert we have.
At thanksgiving I go to my grandparent's house in New Hamsher and have a huge party with aunts, uncles and cousins. We have turkey with gravy and my favorite is the crambery souse. Then before every one leaves all of the kids get in maching PJs and we take pictures! :)
